At Healthy Beagle Puppies, every puppy is raised with careful attention to health, temperament, and early care. We stand behind the quality of our puppies with the following Health Guarantee.
What Is Covered
1. Congenital & Hereditary Conditions (1-Year Guarantee) If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with a life-threatening congenital or hereditary condition within the first 12 months of age that significantly affects quality of life or requires major surgical intervention, we will offer one of the following options (at our discretion):
- Replacement with a comparable puppy from a future litter (when available), or
- Partial refund of the original purchase price (up to 50%), or
- Full refund of the original purchase price if a replacement is not desired and the puppy is returned to us (shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility).
Common conditions that may qualify include severe hip dysplasia, certain heart defects, or other documented genetic issues that were not detectable at the time of sale.
2. Infectious Disease Protection (14-Day Guarantee) If your puppy is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with a contagious illness (such as parvovirus, distemper, or kennel cough) within 14 days of arrival, and the illness is confirmed to have been present at the time of transfer, we will cover reasonable veterinary treatment costs up to the original purchase price of the puppy, or offer a replacement if treatment is unsuccessful.
What Is Required to Keep the Guarantee Valid
To maintain coverage under this guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
- The puppy must receive a full veterinary examination by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival (or the next available business day if arrival is on a weekend/holiday).
- All recommended vaccinations, deworming, and preventative care must be kept current according to your veterinarian’s advice.
- The puppy must not be exposed to unvaccinated dogs or high-risk environments during the first 14 days.
- Proper nutrition, housing, and care must be provided. Neglect, accidents, or injury caused by the owner or environment are not covered.
- Written veterinary documentation (exam notes, test results, and diagnosis) must be provided to us promptly if a claim is being made.
What Is Not Covered
This guarantee does not cover:
- Injuries, accidents, or illness caused by trauma, neglect, or environmental factors
- Common puppy conditions such as parasites that appear after the first 14 days, mild digestive upset, or minor skin issues
- Cosmetic issues or conditions that do not significantly impact quality of life
- Behavioral issues or temperament concerns
- Any condition that develops after the stated guarantee periods
- Costs associated with routine care, spay/neuter, or elective procedures
How to Make a Claim
- Contact us immediately with the veterinarian’s written diagnosis and supporting records.
- We may request additional testing or a second opinion at our expense.
- Once a covered condition is confirmed, we will work with you to determine the appropriate remedy (replacement, partial refund, or full refund with return of the puppy).
